7pm, Friday. The rain was torrential, and we had grown tired of answering questions with – “na, we didn’t end up with tix for the show” womp womp. But out of nowhere, we caught the perfect wave and an hour later found ourselves headed to one of our favorite intimate venues, Resident, to catch the most dope line up of The Coathangers with Zig Zags and The Paranoyds!
We arrived just in time to catch The Paranoyds, who were a surprise addition to an already killer one-two punch of a lineup. Their raw energy was so fun to walk in to!
Next up were local thrashers Zig Zags, who just released a killer new 7″ on Famous Class Records. Their vintage, thrashing punk is a serious party – just don’t spill your beer as you bang along!
Finally, night capped with The Coathangers!! Per usual, our fave Atlanta trio got the place bouncing to their infectious, raucous grooves.
