Starting just recently, every Tuesday at Los Globos will be Monster Smash – a night of fresh, local garage acts put on by the peeps at Pizza Party Music. Last Tuesday was especially dope! It was the Gal Pals record release party celebrating the new album, Velvet Rut, out now on PaperCup Music. This gal-duo pumped out some cutsie garage-pop jams, and played their new album from start to finish.
The party also included La Lenguas, as well as a super chill, guitar-only set by La Sera who, along with guitarist Totally Tod, tested the waters with a batch of new songs. Capping off the night was Feels, who we dig, but ‘cuz it was a school-night, we had to get home and do the homework (sorry Feels).
