With Guantanamo Baywatch’s latest announcement of their new album, Desert Center, coming out this summer, we realized we had photos from their show at the Resident from back in March. The opening acts from that night included Frankie and the Witch Fingers and Trabants. If you haven’t already, I highly recommend checking out Frankie and the Witch Fingers, especially if you’re a psych rock head. They’ll be playing Desert Daze in October and recently announced a new record, Brain Telephone, coming soon on Permanent Records.
Guantanamo Baywatch is always a fav. Chevelle Wiseman kills it on bass! These surf babes will be hitting the road to promote Desert Center, out on August 4th via Suicide Squeeze Records. Be sure to catch the wave to the Echo in Los Angeles on Friday, August 25!
