We first fell in love with the Allah-Las in 2012 with the release of their self-titled album. Songs like “Catamaran” and “Tell Me” are the jams with a surf-psych, 60’s pop vibe. We were able to catch them at Burgerama 3 earlier this year and gotta admit, were a little disappointed at their live performance. Maybe because we were on that Burger buzz all day and they were jamming just a little too mellow for us.
Well, they’re back with a brand new album entitled Worship The Sun, and we aren’t mad about it at all! “Had It All” and the bonus track, “Every Girl” are our new favs. The album is perfect for cruisin’ us into fall.
