For those unfamiliar, the Los Angeles wing of Permanent Records opened in Eagle Rock in 2011, leaving the OG Permanent to hold it down in Chicago. Just last week, Permanent Record’s presence doubled as it opened the doors on its new, York Boulevard location in Highland Park. That makes two FANTASTIC spots to pick up fresh vinyl for your collection!
While the old Eagle Rock location will only be open for a while longer, they are still hosting free, live in-store events (such at Cloud Becomes Your Hand w/ Big A Little a on Wednesday, March 19th at 8pm).
Also, Permanent Records continues to host “Feed the Freaks” every Wednesday night at The Black Boar (1630 Colorado Blvd.) in Eagle Rock, where DJ’s Ty Segall and Lance Bummer promise “Excellent adventures, only. Absolutely, no bogus journeys.” That’s ultimate Cool-Tite.
